Experienced museum professional Peggy Hebard has worked with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City since 2007. As Senior Advisor to the Executive Office, she helped lead a turnaround of the restaurant operations at The Met by initiating a bidding process to select a new restaurant operator and improving the restaurants through various capital projects. She also led several cross functional project teams to improve operational efficiencies across the museum. Peggy Hebard has served on several taskforces during her time at Thr Met, including an imaging taskforce, income-generating taskforce, admissions taskforce, and others.
Ms. Hebard holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Yale School of Management, and a Masters in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, she holds the CPA and CFA designations.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Peggy Hebard is an accomplished runner who completed the Chicago Marathon in 2004 and the New York City Marathon in 2005. She also enjoys tennis, swimming, and skiing. One of her favorite travel destinations is the Turks and Caicos Islands.
